In collaboration with Nelson City Council, Department of Conservation and Tasman District Council the Dune restoration Trust of New Zealand has the pleasure of hosting the following workshop:
Date: 10th October 2009
Time: 9.30 am to 4.00 pm
Venue: Tahuna Beach Conference Centre, 70 Beach Road, Tahunanui, Nelson
(Directions will be included with acknowledgement of enrolment)
Morning tea and lunch will be provided.

Mark Dean: Chairperson of the Dune Restoration Trust of New Zealand and a nurseryman for over 20 years who specialises in propagating dune plants
Jim Dahm: Jim is a trustee and a coastal consultant, with over 30 years experience in applied coastal science and 20 years working with coastal communities. Jim initiated Beachcare/Coastcare work in New Zealand.
David Bergin: Trustee and recently awarded Forester of the Year. David is a forest research scientist who has been leading dune vegetation research for the past 20 years.
Harley Spence: Harley is the immediate past chairperson of the Dunes Trust and also brings over 15 years of experience in working with coastal communities throughout New Zealand. Harley has recently trained in Melbourne with Al Gore on climate change issues.
